Christina Gray has
over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She started in
the script consulting business as a reader for a large media and communications
company that provided a variety of online resources, blogs and
other services for members of the entertainment industry. After a
couple of years the company decided to close their coverage department, so
Christina took the list of loyal clients she had built during that time and
started her own freelance consultant site in 2004. Over the years
Christina has continued to build her client list including writers from all
over the world in places such as Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and
India. She has worked with producers and agents, brand new writers just
getting started and veteran screenwriters with lengthy resumes and
screenwriting credits. In addition to screenplays of all sizes and
genres, Christina has also expanded her editorial work over the past few years
to include several fictional novels, short stories, works of non-fiction and a
children’s book collection.
Her literary
background is varied and extensive - including over twenty years of technical
writing, as well as experience in the fields of advertising and marketing. She
has worked extensively as an editor, copywriter, proofreader and newsletter publisher.
Christina also has a full suite of completed screenplays of her own - done on
spec and as works-for-hire. Her scripts include full length features, short
films, episodics and corporate training videos. She began her
screenwriting career as a member of the renowned Ken Rotcop's Professional
Writers' Workshop, and spent ten years assisting Ken with his bi-annual
PitchMart. Additionally, Christina was a screener for the original Cricket
Feet Showcase and Flickering Image Film Festival. Christina also worked as an assistant to a
theatrical and literary agent when she first came to Los Angeles and has
extensive connections in the entertainment industry.
Christina takes great personal pride in her work. In addition to working with
agents, producers and studios, she genuinely enjoys working with writers to
make their scripts better and more marketable. Christina is also known by
her legal name, Christine Grail.
